Senior Python Software Engineer

Our client, a global engineering and technology provider serving the energy sector, delivers integrated solutions across subsea, onshore, and offshore projects. It focuses on innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability to support complex energy developments worldwide.

We are working on an innovative project contributing to the advancement of green energy through the development of specialized offshore solutions. It emphasizes technical innovation and long-term sustainability, supporting the transition to cleaner energy systems in complex marine environments.

IF YOU ARE

• Proficient in Python
• Adept at backend development and scripting for engineering, or data-driven workflows
• Familiar with engineering design and simulation tools (e.g., OrcaFlex)
• Accustomed to structured file handling, and managing input/output flows for technical computations
• Confident with front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Capable of contributing to UI development or maintenance when needed
• Experienced in leading small teams or mentoring developers (as a plus)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Occasionally join the team onsite in Kraków for close collaboration
• Develop and maintain a Python application that supports complex engineering simulations and workflows
• Implement and improve the process for generating simulation inputs, managing execution in a cloud-based HPC environment, and processing outputs
• Support or enhance the front-end interface to ensure usability and alignment with backend functionality
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other developers to deliver reliable and scalable tools in a cross-functional team
