The organization of our client focuses on consumer-facing experiences that consumers see and use. The Consumer Mobile App team is rebuilding and reimagining the user experience to help customers find the perfect car for them, at a fair price.
IF YOU ARE
- Having 7+ years of hands-on Java software design and development experience
- Expert in OOP, ideally in fast paced environments
- Solid experience in the data layer including SQL, caching strategies, and storage alternatives
- Knowledgeable about data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
- Experienced with web tier technologies and strategies
- Collaborating in cross-functional teams with front-end engineers, Product, and UX
- Focused on iterating and shipping ideas quickly
- Familiar with A/B testing and/or performance testing
- Proficient with AWS
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
AND YOU WANT TO
- Collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to take an idea from concept to technical design to implementation to testing to measurement
- Drive impact forward, from implementing a new full consumer-facing feature, to integrating with a key partner or technology, to an SEO test to help determine impact
- Be deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and improving software
- Investigate, identify, and implement API performance enhancements
- Advocate for new technology and new methodologies
- Learn and expand your capabilities
- Build mobile-focused features to make the app fast, responsive, and flexible
- Deliver net-new features for the most engaged audience
