About The Role
In this role, you will contribute to a complex, data-driven platform supporting large-scale construction projects used by clients worldwide. You will work with a modern cloud-based architecture, shaping data pipelines, integrations, and advanced UI components that enable seamless project management and analytics. You will influence both backend and frontend architecture while collaborating with a distributed engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve dual-layer data architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance across data workflows
- Own dataset and table lifecycle management using MySQL and TypeORM, improving consistency and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data pipelines and integrations that enhance project analytics and user experience
- Build and optimize engines converting visual definitions into parameterized BigQuery SQL for efficient data processing
- Manage ephemeral blob uploads to GCS and execute high-performance BigQuery MERGE operations
- Develop complex data transformation widgets using React, including regex, formula, and date extraction capabilities
- Extend Canvas-based UI frameworks with advanced rendering, interaction models, and animation systems
- Oversee integrations with enterprise and construction platforms, ensuring effective ingestion and synchronization strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- 2+ years of experience in React with a focus on complex state management
- Solid expertise in SQL and columnar data warehouses such as BigQuery
- Hands-on experience with REST, GraphQL, and OAuth 2.0 API design
- Knowledge of NestJS and cloud infrastructure, including AWS
- Familiarity with Canvas API or WebGL for advanced UI interactions
- Background in ETL/ELT workflows or large-scale data integrations
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Upper-intermediate English level
- Tech or team leadership experience with the ability to drive architectural decisions (nice to have)
