Senior DW/BI Software Engineer (Python)

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced as an Analytics Engineer with 3-5 years of commercial practice in data or analytics engineering
• Skilled in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation tasks
• Proficient in advanced SQL, including CTEs, window functions, query optimization, and stored procedures
• Accustomed to cloud data warehouses: Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse
• Versed in working with GCP or another public cloud provider, with a clear understanding of cloud-based data platforms
• Familiar with ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools like Airflow, dbt, Dataflow, or custom Python pipelines
• Knowledgeable in data validation, data profiling, and data quality assurance practices
• Confident in collaborating with BI teams and supporting reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Aware of data modeling principles, including star and snowflake schemas, data marts, and semantic layers
• Capable of working in distributed Agile teams across multiple time zones and communicating effectively in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher

AND YOU WANT TO

• Design, implement, and optimize ELT pipelines to migrate and transform data into a cloud-based analytics environment
• Re-engineer and validate legacy SQL logic to ensure consistency and accuracy across modernized data platforms
• Develop data models and transformation layers to support BI reporting and dashboarding
• Automate data workflows and repeatable processes using Python and orchestration tools
• Perform data reconciliation and quality checks to ensure accuracy after migration
• Collaborate closely with BI Developers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to support reporting needs
• Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure secure and efficient data pipeline deployments
• Contribute to documentation, internal standards, and continuous improvement of data migration and modeling practices
