Middle/Senior Big Data Software Engineer (Java + GCP)

Big Data & Analytics is the data consulting and engineering arm of our Center of Excellence. Hundreds of data engineers and architects build end-to-end data & analytics solutions: from strategy and architecture through technical design, proof of concept, and full-scale implementation.

Our client is a leading US-based provider of healthcare services, specializing in dialysis for patients with chronic kidney failure and end-stage renal disease.

IF YOU ARE

• Middle Big Data Engineer with 3+ years of commercial experience
• Experienced with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services
• Hands-on with Java and SQL
• Skilled in working with Dataflow for building scalable data processing pipelines
• Capable of working with databases, integrations and data connectivity
• Proficient with BigQuery, Composer, and CloudSQL or similar cloud data services
• Experienced with schema migration tools such as Liquibase or Flyway
• Familiar with GitLab CI or similar CI/CD tools
• Effective communicator in English at upper-intermediate level or higher for collaboration with international teams
• Familiar with Python scripting (as an advantage)
• Knowledgeable in building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows (as a plus)
• Aware of modern Data Architectures such as Data Lakehouse or Data Mesh (nice to have)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Dive deeper into the Data Engineering field while working on enterprise-scale solutions
• Design and build enterprise-grade Data Products supporting analytics across thousands of healthcare facilities
• Work with GCP-based data technologies to build scalable and reliable data pipelines
• Participate in designing and optimizing high-throughput and cost-efficient data processing solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate domain requirements into production-ready data solutions
• Contribute to improvements in CI/CD, automation, infrastructure, and platform performance
• Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives and help introduce new technologies and best practices into the Data Platform
• Support the evolution of a data-mesh-inspired architecture across business domains
