Linux Software Engineer

Our client is the biggest healthcare digital solutions provider in the United States. The general solution is the single sign-on platform for healthcare providers.

Our mission is to reduce the time spent on daily physician activities, especially on authentication workflows. Our team is focused on enabling seamless access for desktop and application virtualization (VDI).

IF YOU ARE

• Having 5+ years of development experience in a Linux environment
• Qualified with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Knowledgeable of the Linux operating system, including kernel, File System Hierarchy Standard, operating system configuration, repositories, and rpm packaging
• Aware of Perl, shell scripting, PHP, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and the Linux operating system
• Skilled with networking principles (e.g., DNS, DHCP, firewalls, etc.) and network troubleshooting
• Understanding Linux security principles and utilities (e.g., TLS, SSL, ACLs, AppArmor, etc.)
• Experienced in working with database building principles
• Possessing design skills with the ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with high expectations
• Fluent in English at an intermediate level or higher for effective team collaboration
• Having experience with cloud environments, such as Azure and AWS (as a bonus)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Be responsible for the architecture, design, and development of VDI solutions
• Support end clients through Windows and Linux-based devices for VDI providers, including Citrix, VMWare, and Microsoft
• Extend our existing product with a cross-platform client-server solution
• Develop solutions in the areas of security, authentication, single sign-on, and healthcare workflow enablement
• Analyze possible solutions, scope, plan, and deliver software
• Get knowledge of VMWare and hypervisors
• Work with the SUSE Linux operating system distribution
