Senior Software Engineer

Contract: Initial 6 months (subject to extension)

Work Setup: Fully Remote

Working Schedule: UAE hours | Sunday to Thursday

We are assembling a new Integration Team for a Saudi-based insurance company and are seeking a Senior Developer with strong technical and communication skills. You will play a key role in designing and developing microservices-based integration solutions that power mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain microservices and integration services using Node.js and Kafka
• Develop APIs and middleware for secure, scalable communication between platforms
• Deploy and optimize solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and fault tolerance in distributed systems
• Collaborate with QA, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve microservices and workflows

Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Expertise in Node.js, Apache Kafka, and Apigee, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile practices
• Proven ability to design scalable, cloud-native integration solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
