Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Working Setup: Remote

Schedule: UAE Hours, 5 days work week

Initial Contract Duration: Initial 12 months contract

We’re hiring senior-level Go engineers and technical leaders for a large-scale, regulated, multi-market iGaming platform operating high-transaction, event-driven systems, including wallets, ledgers, payments, and other core backend services.

Tech Stack:

• Golang services at the core
• Event-driven architecture (Kafka / PubSub patterns)
• Kubernetes-based infrastructure
• Cloud-native deployment (GCP-centric)
• BigQuery-powered data and analytics pipelines
• CI/CD-driven delivery
• API-first design across wallet, sportsbook, compliance, and core services

🧩 The Roles

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 (𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠)

— Design, build, and own high-performance Go services

— Operate in event-driven, distributed systems under real production load

Required Experience

• Strong production experience with Golang.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with microservices and distributed system design.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Experience in regulated, fintech, or high-scale transactional systems preferred.

𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 (𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐎𝐧, 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠)

— Lead delivery while remaining hands-on in code

— Own system design decisions and technical execution across teams

Required Experience

• Extensive production experience with Golang and distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead delivery in complex engineering environments.
• Strong architectural judgment in event-driven systems.
• Experience in wallet, payments, ledger, or regulated domains preferred.
• Comfort operating in high-pressure, high-scale production environments.

— Drive long-term platform architecture and scalability

— Lead system resilience, domain modeling, and cross-service integration

Required Experience

• Extensive experience in distributed system architecture.
• Strong background in event-driven systems and high-throughput environments.
• Polyglot engineering capability (Golang preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience designing financial, wallet, or compliance-driven systems preferred.
• Ability to think in long-term platform scalability and structural integrity.
