We are seeking an entrepreneurial Full Stack Marketing & Merchandising Lead to lead all marketing functions and oversee onsite merchandising during a pivotal stage in our business transformation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scrappy environment and loves building systems, processes, and teams. You should be as comfortable developing a strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves and executing it.

You’ll Report To: CEO, Society6

A typical day as a Full-Stack Marketing & Merchandising Lead might include:

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels (email/SMS, performance marketing, SEO, social, influencers, and partnerships).
  • Lead the promotional strategy and seasonal calendar across channels and onsite.
  • Own paid growth strategy and hit channel profitability goals, with a strong focus on improving LTV:CAC.
  • Identify new audience opportunities with an emphasis on retention, reactivation, and high-value customer segments.

Content, Creative & Brand

  • Oversee end-to-end content and asset production to ensure high-quality, on-brand creative across all touchpoints.
  • Refine and maintain Society6’s brand voice, messaging, and creative direction.
  • Partner with creators, influencers, and like-minded brands to expand reach and drive engagement.

Digital Merchandising & Onsite Experience

  • Lead onsite merchandising, including homepage, collections, navigation, and product storytelling.
  • Manage the promotional calendar and onsite execution to support revenue, margin, and inventory goals.
  • Own site performance metrics, analyzing traffic, conversion, AOV, and merchandising performance to identify growth opportunities

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Email/SMS Manager and Product/Tech teams to advance lifecycle marketing and improve repeat rate.
  • Collaborate with Product Development on new product launches and category expansion.
  • Work cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives across the business.

Reporting & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage the marketing and merchandising budget, optimizing spend and maximizing ROI.
  • Use data to evaluate channel performance, improve conversion, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Lead a small, nimble team and cultivate a collaborative, accountable culture.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build reports, and translate numbers into actionable insights

What you bring to the table:

  • 7–8+ years of marketing experience, ideally in high-growth, startup, or transformation environments. D2C experience is a must
  • Hands-on experience across Email/SMS, Performance Marketing, Social/Influencer Marketing, and SEO.
  • Proven success driving profitable growth, improving LTV, and scaling marketing programs.
  • Experience with digital merchandising or onsite optimization (preferred but not required).
  • Strong creative instincts and experience leading content and brand development.
  • Highly analytical with comfort navigating data, KPIs, and ROI.
  • Experience managing seven-figure budgets and optimizing spend across channels.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with confidence in presenting to leadership.
  • Comfortable working with limited resources and wearing multiple hats.
  • A passion for art, design, and supporting the creative community.
  • A humble, accountable, collaborative working style.
  • Extensive Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides experience
  • Figma, Canva, Google Analytics, and Klayvio experience a plus
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to support workflow and creative needs

US base salary range: $120,000 - $145,000
