We are looking for a talented and experienced Contract Graphic Designer to join our Merchandising team. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that enhance our product offerings across digital spaces, as your designs will help showcase Society6's unique art and products in fresh and inspiring ways.

You’ll Report To: Marketing Lead

A Typical Day as a Contract Graphic Designer Might Include:

• Design and produce high-quality digital assets for online store visuals, email campaigns, and social media posts.
• Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to develop visual presentations for product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Work with marketing and product teams to ensure designs align with brand messaging, target audience, and business goals.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback to ensure final assets meet brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Maintain consistency in design across digital and physical channels, including packaging, signage, and promotional materials.

What You Have:

• 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within the art, retail, or lifestyle industries.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Canva.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, with a focus on digital and print materials for merchandising and marketing.
• Experience working in digital design, with a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, with an ability to translate concepts and creative direction into compelling visual assets.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and receiving feedback.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality design work.

Not Required, But a Plus:

• Experience with 3D mock-ups and rendering software for product and merchandising displays.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and an understanding of art retail merchandising trends.

US hourly range: $45-$75
