Social Nucleus is a performance-driven eCommerce agency that helps 7–8 figure DTC brands scale through paid advertising on Meta, TikTok, and Google. With over £150 million in sales driven and £20 million in ad spend managed annually, great creative is at the centre of everything we do.
We're looking for a Video-First Designer to join our creative team on a long-term, full-time basis. Video is our biggest growth area, but this isn't a one-trick role — you'll need strong design fundamentals across the board. Static ads, landing pages, emails, brand content — it all matters. If you understand that great creativity drives great performance, you'll fit right in.
What you'll be doing
- Editing and producing high-performing video content from raw assets (UGC, product footage, brand materials)
- Creating Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos (short and long-form), and paid social video ads
- Designing static ads, landing pages, emails, and brand content to a high standard
- Translating briefs into thumb-stopping creatives for paid social
- Collaborating with creative strategists and media buyers on concept and execution
- Managing and delivering work across multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Keeping up with trends in editing styles, formats, and social-first storytelling
What we're looking for
- 2–5 years of experience in digital design, video editing, or motion graphics (agency, in-house, or freelance)
- Strong video editing experience — a proven track record with Reels, TikToks, and YouTube content
- Strong still design skills — static ads, landing pages, and digital assets
- At least 1 year of hands-on Figma experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or CapCut or similar
- A performance mindset — you know how to make good-looking content convert
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once in a fast-moving agency environment
- Reliable availability during UK business hours (9am–5pm Mon–Fri)
- Excellent communication and attention to detail in a remote setup
Nice to have
- Experience with AI creative tools or automation
- 3D or motion design skills
- eCommerce or paid advertising background
- Prior agency experience
