Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior JavaScript Engineer to join our development team and play a critical role in building and maintaining our social media management platform. You’ll work closely with our Head of Engineering to drive new feature development, optimize system performance, and ensure our infrastructure is robust and scalable. This position requires a hands-on approach to development and a willingness to collaborate with both in-house and dedicated long-term contractors who are integrated into our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality REST APIs and data aggregation pipelines
• Manage and optimize serverless cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to define and implement architectural improvements
• Integrate third-party social network APIs to expand platform functionality
• Coordinate with long-term contractors to ensure alignment on project objectives
• Participate in troubleshooting and bug-fixing to support application stability
• Contribute to QA and regression testing to uphold product quality
• Maintain clear project documentation and task updates in Asana
• Communicate effectively across teams to achieve cohesive project outcomes

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in JavaScript, including Node.js and React
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, and S3
• Familiarity with Serverless Framework and MongoDB or Redis databases
• Proven experience in API design and data aggregation
• Experience collaborating with both internal teams and long-term contractors
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure management and performance optimization
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with social media API integrations (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Familiarity with additional serverless tools and technologies
• Knowledge of project management tools like Asana or similar
• Experience in a SaaS or B2B software environment
