Position Overview

The Marketing Executive will play a vital role in supporting the execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. Working closely with the marketing team and cross-functional partners, the Marketing Executive will help develop content, coordinate campaigns, analyse performance metrics, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment where creativity, data-driven thinking, and collaboration are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creative Campaign Development & Execution: Help to create marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, events, and traditional platforms) with authentic and illuminating stories and information covering the successes of SIMA and our ultimate clients at the base of the pyramid, to spark audience engagement, generate qualified leads, and deepen relationships with existing stakeholders. Understand our business and contribute insights, compelling messaging, and creative concepts that substantiate SIMA’s role in impact investing.
  2. Content Creation: Partner with internal teams and external collaborators to conceptualize and produce high-quality, accurate, English language, , visually engaging, and insight-driven marketing material. This includes investor materials, brochures, thought leadership articles, social media campaigns, newsletters, website pages and other promotional material. Translate complex impact and financial concepts into clear, compelling narratives that inspire action. Ensure that all marketing materials, communications, and touchpoints adhere to brand guidelines.
  3. Digital Marketing and Social Media: Support the growth of SIMA’s digital presence by content, working with different formats (reels, carousels, data visuals, short-form video), and crafting posts that amplify SIMA’s voice in climate finance and impact investing. Work to improve brand mentions and identify timely opportunities to insert SIMA into relevant conversations. Support website updates, basic SEO optimizations, and landing page improvements to enhance the user experience, improve site rankings, and drive conversion.
  4. Marketing Material: Coordinate with the sales team to produce marketing material in English and ensure timely follow-ups.   Develop strategies to improve conversion rates.
  5. Market Research: Utilize market research to identify industry trends, audience insights, and competitive strategies; present findings to guide marketing planning and strategy. Assist in tracking campaign KPIs and creating reports that highlight key insights, successes, and areas for improvement to inform future marketing activities.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives, support lead handovers, and gather feedback on marketing assets.  Contribute to the planning, promotion, and execution of events, webinars, and workshops to build brand awareness and engage potential customers.

Qualifications & Skills –

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Applied Arts/Graphic Design, Communications , or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience, preferably in digital marketing in the financial service sector. Relevant internships or project experience will also be considered.
  • Proactivity & Creativity: A self-starter creative person who can generate a variety of new ideas, embrace innovative thinking, and take initiative and owns the process to optimize marketing goals.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, email marketing software, and basic knowledge of Google Analytics. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to various audiences and channels.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong attention to detail and comfort interpreting data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
