We’re now looking for a Lead Software Engineer to bring our next-generation platform to life — starting from MVP to long-term vision.

What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll take the lead on engineering our new platform from scratch. You’ll be hands-on coding and guiding technical decisions while working closely with our founder, iOS developer, product designer, and broader team.

You’ll help build a product that:

• Onboards creators like Duolingo: smooth, gamified, addictive
• Gives creators & brands access to powerful data on products, videos, and sales
• Powers viral discovery and affiliate tools that drive GMV
• Has a built-in community feel and is deeply integrated with Discord
• Scales to handle millions of data points from TikTok Shop, and beyond
• Feels fast, smooth, and looks like a dream

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend and/or full-stack development of our new platform MVP
• Work closely with the iOS developer and designer to bring the product to life
• Set the technical direction, architecture, and foundational decisions
• Own platform scalability, security, and API integrations (e.g. TikTok Shop, Shortimize, Whop)
• Help hire, guide, and mentor additional developers as the team grows
• Work directly with the founder to shape product iterations and roadmap
• Ensure high performance, great UX, and clean, scalable code

You Might Be a Fit If You...

• Have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer (full-stack or backend-heavy)
• Have built and scaled real products from 0 to 1 (bonus if at a startup)
• Are fluent in modern frameworks (e.g. Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL)
• Have experience working with third-party APIs and building modular, maintainable backend systems
• Have startup-level hustle: you're independent, resourceful, and excited to build
• Bonus: experience with TikTok APIs, affiliate platforms, or analytics dashboards
• Bonus: you've worked on consumer or community platforms
