Where Data Does More. Join the Snowflake team.

The Product Security team ensures that Snowflake products are built and shipped with the highest level of security. Our team drives the security development lifecycle of new products in collaboration with multiple product, security and engineering teams. We build software to design and secure production access for employees and protect customer data.

In this role, you will design, build and support software solutions to track and secure employee access to production services and to customer data. You will have the opportunity to help set the direction for the security infrastructure used by engineers across the company. The systems you build must be natively multi-cloud, highly-reliable and scale to match Snowflake’s massive and distributed footprint.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in software development working with one or more of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, Go.

  • Experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.

  • Experience working with infrastructure from major cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)

  • Experience with building security products and frameworks, including but not limited to access control, beyond corp, access transparency, SSH

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Design, develop and scale security solutions that enable Snowflake employees achieve their business goals while protecting sensitive customer data

  • Partner with security, engineering and product teams to define and set the strategy for security practices and processes.

  • Lead and manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
