Senior Product Manager - Trust & Safety

We are now seeking an experienced and technically adept Senior Product Manager to lead our Trust and

Safety efforts, driving solutions that safeguard our community while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Role Overview:

As Senior Product Manager for Trust and Safety, you will lead a dedicated team focused on building and evolving solutions that ensure the integrity, safety, and trustworthiness of the Sniffies platform. Collaborating closely with engineering, design, and data science teams, you will drive the development of tools and systems that protect our users, enforce our Terms of Service, and enhance user management and moderation capabilities.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a technical understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and scalable infrastructure systems. You will define and delivering a Trust and Safety roadmap, enabling Sniffies to stay ahead of emerging risks while fostering a vibrant and inclusive community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the Trust and Safety product vision, strategy, and roadmap, balancing user experience with enforcement of platform policies.
• Advanced Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and data science teams to develop ML- and AI-powered solutions that detect and mitigate spam, scams, and underage usage while improving moderation and dashboard tools.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Define experiments and leverage advanced data analysis to identify vulnerabilities, measure the impact of safety initiatives, and iterate on solutions.
• Feature Development: Lead the ideation, prioritization, and execution of features that enhance user management, reporting, and moderation, ensuring they align with business and community needs.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with design, legal, and community teams to ensure safety solutions are user-friendly, compliant, and align with brand values.
• Scalability: Build scalable infrastructure to support Sniffies’ rapid growth and evolving Trust and Safety requirements.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay informed of industry developments, emerging risks, and best practices in Trust and Safety, implementing relevant innovations.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years focused on Trust and Safety or a related domain.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in developing technical solutions using ML, AI, and complex systems.
• Strong understanding of Trust and Safety challenges in consumer technology platforms, including spam detection, content moderation, and policy enforcement.
• Exceptional analytical skills with experience in leveraging data to drive decisions and measure outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep empathy for user needs, with a user-centric approach to problem-solving.
• Able to work Pacific time zone hours..

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks, trust and safety tools, or similar technical products.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory considerations related to online trust and safety.
• Experience scaling solutions in high-growth environments.
• Knowledge of or passion for the GBTQ+ community and its unique challenges.
