What will you do:

We’re looking for efficient, highly technical, Software Engineer specialized in Node.js back-end technologies, who have worked with microservice architectures, scalable apps, and CI/CD pipelines. As a part of a highly specialized team, you will play a pivotal role in automating processes that enhance the technical currency of the existing systems for some of the global institutions leading banking digital transformation, as well as mitigating vulnerabilities and promoting code efficiency.

• You'll work collaboratively with teams on a wide range of projects.
• In addition to updating the application and resolving issues, you'll also be responsible for reporting, maintenance and deployment.
• Technical enhancements of the applications, updating any vulnerable components and adapting the application to the new interfaces.
• Investigate application issues, identify root cause, and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop solutions which account for scalability and optimize performance.
• Outline and enact back-end and front-end components and services.
• Promote top programming practices and standards.
• Working with the following tech stack: Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, Express.js/NestJs, Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
• Automating code for Java (Spring Framework) and Typescript (Angular) code bases.

What would you need to succeed:

• 4+ years of experience working with Node.JS and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• 2+ years working with Java 8 or later, Spring Framework, Maven/Gradle.
• 3+ working with CI/CD and Application Monitoring tools like Openshift, Jenkins, SonarQube, Contrast Security or Dynatrace.
• 2+ years of experience using scripting languages in Linux/Unix environments.
• +1 year of experience working on applications with extensive use of Regex.
• Prior experience integrating with back-end APIs.
• Fluent english is a must

What technologies should you be familiar with:

• REST APIs, Express.js/NestJs, Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
