Summary/Objective

The graphic designer is a dual-purpose role that combines strong design expertise with a strategic marketing mindset. This position requires a professional who can seamlessly create visually compelling materials while aligning their work with broader marketing objectives. With responsibilities spanning design, branding, and marketing operations, this role is essential for ensuring consistent and impactful communication across all platforms.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. General Design: Create and maintain website pages and graphics. Develop marketing content, print documents, ads, sponsorship/membership material, signature banners and more.
2. Decks and Presentations: Design and update marketing and proposal decks as well as sales presentations. Ensure brand consistency and visual excellence in all presentation materials.
3. Renders and Video Production: Create static and animated renders for marketing and sales initiatives. Support video production efforts including pulling assets, editing footage, and collaborating on video projects as needed.
4. Email Marketing: Manage email marketing templates for campaigns. Maintain customer database.
5. Additional Marketing Support: Assist in maintaining and enforcing brand standards across the company to ensure consistency. Manage business card creation, branded merchandise, and apparel orders. Maintain sales asset file systems to ensure easy access and efficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related.
2. Must have a design portfolio showcasing relevant experience and/or skills.
3. Strong understanding of layout principles and typography, with the ability to create visually balanced and engaging designs.
4. 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a marketing or creative team.
5. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and PowerPoint.
6. Track record of brand management, keen eye for design, messaging, and brand positioning.
7. Working knowledge of After Effects or Premier a plus but not required.
8. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and WordPress or other content management systems to oversee and optimize website content and design is a plus.
9. Creative thinker and problem solver with a passion for innovation and the ability to translate ideas into results.
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
11. Willingness to learn and adapt, whether through direct requests or by taking initiative.
12. Excellent attention to detail and a knack for aligning design work with strategic objectives.
13. A collaborative attitude and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have any supervisory responsibility currently.

Work Environment

This position operates in a home office environment, but some travel is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and unless otherwise specified, hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

This position may require up to 10% travel to trade shows, project sites, etc.
