Senior Product Designer

Role Purpose

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll reimagine how people experience insight making complex journeys simple, fast, and meaningful. From onboarding to adoption to iteration and automation, your designs will help users get value sooner and feel confident in what they’re doing.

You won’t just design features. You’ll shape strategy, guide discovery, and influence how SmartSurvey’s product feels and flows. You’ll use your design craft, product thinking, and data awareness to ensure every touchpoint is cohesive, elegant, and empowering.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and knows how to lead with ideas turning feedback and emerging tools into outcomes that matter.

What Great Looks Like

Within your first 3-6 months, you will:

• Deliver smart, intuitive user journeys that reduce time-to-value
• Improve key UX metrics like adoption, engagement, and satisfaction
• Build scalable, inclusive design systems to support rapid iteration
• Influence roadmap discussions with clear rationale and customer insight
• Be recognised as a key design voice within product, engineering, and throughout the company

Role Responsibilities

• Lea the design of end-to-end product journeys from research to adoption
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver experiences that are consistent, cohesive, AI first and user-led
• Prototype rapidly using tools like Figma AI, Galileo AI, Framer, or Uizard
• Translate complex workflows and AI outputs into clear, elegant interfaces
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate your work
• Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders, advocating for users and business outcomes alike
• Champion inclusive, accessible, and ethical design throughout the product
• Mentor peers and shape design culture as we scale

Skills & Experience Must-Haves

• Have 5+ years designing digital products, including 3+ in a senior role
• Have shipped experiences that drove measurable user and business impact
• Are a confident influencer and communicator who can bring people along with your thinking
• Think like a product person: asking why, testing assumptions, linking design to outcomes
• Are fluent in modern design tools and excited by what AI can unlock
• Design with users first, and advocate for accessibility and inclusion
• Love collaborating across teams, giving and receiving feedback to make the work stronger

Experience We’d Love To See

• Experience designing for AI-first products (e.g., generative UX, recommendations, agentic workflows)
• Strong grasp of SaaS metrics and product-led growth
• Familiarity with product analytics tools like Mixpanel or PowerBI
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for rapid prototyping
• Experience influencing design culture at an organisational level advocating for design excellence, sharing best practices, and helping uplift standards across teams

Location: Remote - H_owever, you may be required to attend team meetings occasionally. You must have a suitable space to work from at home and a reliable internet connection.
