Marketing Designer

We’re looking to hire a Marketing Designer as a direct hire!

Smarter Contact is a growing SaaS with a text and voice messaging CRM platform. You will have plenty of training and collaboration with colleagues to guarantee your success in this role. You’ll be joining an established marketing team creating and capturing demand for products and services our customers love.

As a marketing designer, you’ll be responsible for translating strategy into engaging creative, with a passion for craft, branding, and storytelling. You’ll contribute to an evolving brand and collaborate across teams to ensure our visual identity is consistent, scalable, and memorable.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, independent strategic thinker who brings deep expertise in designing website pages and digital marketing assets within B2B SaaS organizations. Desire to always stay on the leading edge of design trends and technology, leading to fresh ideas and innovation.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in brand, visual, or marketing design roles within B2B SaaS, either in-house or agency.
• A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional web design and visual storytelling skills, with work spanning digital campaigns, illustrations, and videos.
• Strong knowledge of visual design principles - typography, layout, color, composition, etc.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of style.
• Organized for managing libraries, templates, and brand assets
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams.
• Confident communicator who can explain design rationale clearly to colleagues from different disciplines.
• A team player who brings positivity, curiosity, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Motion design and animation skills.
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, or alternative, including generative AI.
• You have a self-starter mentality with creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and “Google it” when needed.
• You are scrappy, resourceful, and always present solutions, not problems without solutions.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You are a team player, a quick learner, and highly coachable with a positive can-do attitude.
• You have the ability to work autonomously, independently, collaboratively, and effectively as part of a remote team.
• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to succinctly communicate value propositions.
• You have full professional proficiency in the English language.
• You must be willing, able, and available to work in US time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Start-up experience is highly desirable.
• You can develop new and modify existing website pages on WordPress.
• Generative AI expertise.

What you’ll do:

• Design creative assets across a range of touchpoints - website pages, digital campaigns, video, social content, branding, infographics, and emails - ensuring clarity, performance, and brand consistency.
• Turn complex product features into eye-catching visuals that educate, compel, and sell—using visualization to make info clear, engaging, and easy to digest.
• Design changes to the website
• Design corporate identity
• Design graphics for emails, social media, web/display ads, etc.
• Video production.
