Senior Java Software Engineer

What will your role be at SMART?

• Join an existing team working on products for Swiss banks.
• Enhance and maintain existing systems with a focus on modularity, security, and scalability.
• Implement new features and fix bugs reported by clients.
• Work autonomously and efficiently with legacy code, convoluted configurations, and outdated documentation.
• Demonstrate a can-do attitude and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Communicate clearly and confidently to challenge unclear or conflicting client requirements.
• Use technologies such as Java (14–21), Spring Boot, JUnit, Docker, Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• (Nice to have) experience with ZK framework and JasperReports.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies in day-to-day work.
• Have at least 7 years of professional experience after graduation.
• Hold a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics).
• Plus: speak Ukrainian, to ensure smooth communication with the local team.
