The Opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our early-stage startup as we scale our technology from research to commercial deployment. You'll work directly with our founding team and collaborate with key technical partners to build robust integration pathways between our platform, hardware partners, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate directly with hardware partner, Google Cloud, and Databricks solution engineers to design and implement seamless integrations for ML biomarkers

- Develop and optimize cloud database architecture to support efficient storage and retrieval of pathology image data

- Build robust API integration with hardware partner Grundium's slide scanning hardware to enable data upload, trigger ML processing, and display results

- Design and implement data pipelines between our cloud database, Databricks analytics environment, and GCP compute resources

- Create an intuitive web interface for retrieving processed results

- Ensure data security, compliance, and optimal performance across our integrated platform

- Contribute to architecture decisions that balance scalability, cost-efficiency, and performance

Ideal Qualifications:

- Experience with GCP infrastructure, database design, and Databricks ecosystem

- Previous success coordinating with external technical teams and solution engineers

- Proficiency in API development and hardware integration

- Experience with cloud data architecture and pipeline development
