About the team

We develop financial products for a new market, primarily focusing on a BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) lending service that lets consumers shop at partnering retailers and pay in installments —enhancing shopper convenience and driving merchant sales.

Team is responsible for developing Product Engine which serves as the heart of our platform — it powers financial calculations, manages customer products, handles accounting operations, and ensures the seamless functioning of key business logic. It’s the foundation upon which our financial services are built and scaled.

Tech stack: Java 17-21, Spring (Boot 3, Cloud, Security), PostgreSQL, Oracle, Kafka, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code
• Design and implement APIs and integrations
• Work closely with analysts, QA, and DevOps
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions

What you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Spring ecosystem
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, multithreading, and async processing
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS
• Understanding of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools
• Russian language (fluent), English (reading and writing technical docs)
