About Skylark

Skylark is a luxury hotel booking and membership platform for discerning travelers. Since 2014, we have served over 100,000 travelers, maintaining an average nightly rate above $1,100 and an NPS of 85.

We partner with 4,000+ of the world's premier hotels—including Aman, Belmond, Rosewood, Mandarin Oriental, and Peninsula—with over 400 exclusive property partnerships. Members of our Friends With Amenities program receive curated privileges such as room upgrades, complimentary breakfast, resort credits, exclusive rates, and dedicated travel advisors who have personally visited each property.

We are lean, high-performing, and expanding rapidly. Built on our proprietary booking engine, we are developing the best AI-driven luxury travel harness in the world, integrated with hotel relationships and exclusive deals that other travel companies would kill for. Now, we are looking for the right growth leader to pour fuel on it.

The role

We are hiring a Growth Marketing Lead: a hands-on, full-funnel operator driven by data and swift execution. You will own customer acquisition across paid media, affiliate channels, strategic partnerships, and social, evaluated on a clear objective: driving profitable growth in memberships and bookings.

This is not an agency management role. You will build campaigns from scratch, craft persuasive copy, configure analytics, run structured experiments, and rapidly iterate. If you have successfully scaled channels from zero to meaningful revenue with high capital efficiency and excel at marketing attribution, this role is for you.

You'll report to the Managing Partner and work closely with brand, product, and our partnerships team.

What you'll do

  • Run paid acquisition. Plan, build and optimize Google Ads (search, PMax, YouTube) and Meta campaigns end-to-end. Own budgets, bids, creative testing and the path from CPA to LTV.
  • Scale affiliate and partner channels. Grow our affiliate program, recruit and manage high-quality publishers and creators, and help turn partnerships with clubs, card programs and member organizations into real acquisition engines.
  • Grow organic and social. Own performance on Instagram, TikTok and emerging channels. Work with creators and travel influencers, and find the formats that actually drive signups, not just likes.
  • Tighten the funnel. Run landing page, pricing page and checkout tests. Partner with product on onboarding, referral loops and conversion rate.
  • Drive lifecycle and retention. Work with our email and CRM tools to activate new members, drive repeat bookings and bring back lapsed ones.
  • Own measurement. Set up and maintain tracking, attribution and dashboards (GA4, pixels, UTMs, CAPI) so we always know what's working and what it costs.
  • Test relentlessly. Keep a running experiment backlog, ship several tests a week and write up what we learned.
  • Explore emerging channels. Identify and scale untapped growth vectors ahead of the market. High-priority areas for testing include:
  • Reddit ads and genuine community presence in travel subs
  • Ads and sponsored placements inside LLMs and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity and whatever launches next month)
  • AI search optimization so Skylark shows up when someone asks an assistant where to stay in Tokyo
  • Newsletter and podcast sponsorships, plus creator whitelisting and Spark Ads
  • Google Hotel Ads and other metasearch
  • Referral loops, waitlists, limited drops and other growth hacks that make luxury feel exclusive
  • Programmatic SEO and destination content at scale

Who you are

  • 4+ years in growth or performance marketing, ideally at a consumer, subscription, marketplace, or travel company
  • Hands-on expert in Google Ads and Meta Ads. You've personally managed meaningful monthly spend and can show the results
  • Real experience building or scaling an affiliate program (Impact, CJ, Rakuten, PartnerStack or similar)
  • Comfortable with the analytics stack: GA4, pixel and conversion API setup, UTMs, spreadsheets and at least one BI or dashboard tool
  • Knows social from the inside, including creator partnerships and paid social creative that performs
  • Scrappy and resourceful. You'd rather ship a test today than a deck next week
  • Exceptional communicator capable of developing copy that resonates with a luxury audience while driving strong conversion
  • Self-directed and reliable working remotely, with enough overlap with US Eastern hours to collaborate live

Bonus points

  • Experience in luxury, hospitality or travel, or marketing to high-net-worth audiences
  • A track record of executing creative, high-impact growth initiatives
  • You've scaled a membership or subscription product
  • Experience with Customer.io or similar lifecycle tools
  • You use AI tools to move faster and have strong opinions about how AI search is changing discovery

What we offer

  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.
  • Real ownership. Meaningful equity and a direct line to leadership. Your work shows up in the numbers fast.
  • Work from anywhere. Fully remote, with the occasional team get-together somewhere worth going.
  • Travel perks. Access to our partner hotel benefits and discounts, plus property visits so you know the product firsthand.

How to apply

Send your resume to careers@skylark.com with "Growth Marketing Lead" in the subject line. Skip the cover letter. Instead, send us a few lines on a campaign or channel you grew, the numbers behind it, and what you'd test first at Skylark.
