Senior Director, Product Marketing

Skinner & Associates is an Executive Recruiting firm specializing in Healthcare Technology. Our client, a Healthcare IT company, is currently looking to add a Sr. Director of Product Marketing to their team.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are dedicated to accelerating the proliferation and adoption of impactful AI tools and applications in healthcare, empowering providers with comprehensive technology to assess, validate, deploy, monitor, and govern AI effectiveness at an enterprise scale. As we expand into healthcare provider markets at all levels, it is essential we effectively communicate the value and positioning of our innovative product and solution portfolio.

We are seeking a Senior Director, Product Marketing with strong experience in healthcare AI technology applications, preferably in medical imaging. This role requires someone early in their career but accomplished, ambitious, and strategically minded, demonstrating sophisticated communication skills, creativity, charisma, and the ability to convincingly articulate complex ideas.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director, Product Marketing will lead initiatives translating customer insights into compelling product narratives, bridging customer feedback with product development, and clearly communicating development innovations into powerful market messages. This individual will support sales, digital marketing, and customer success teams, while building and nurturing a vibrant user and industry online community. Experience managing people, processes, and leveraging data-driven marketing strategies is critical as we increasingly embraces analytics for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand customer needs, challenges, behaviors, and market trends through continuous market research and direct customer engagement.
  • Interface with competitors, channel partners, and vendor partners to gather insights that inform our market position, competitive differentiation, and strategic direction.
  • Define and communicate clear, data-driven, and compelling product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Translate customer interests and product feedback effectively to the product development team, influencing our innovation roadmap.
  • Partner closely with sales, customer success, and digital marketing teams to develop and execute impactful go-to-market strategies.
  • Build, manage, and grow an active and engaged online community of our product users and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead internal campaigns across various product lifecycle stages focused on market fit, messaging, demand generation, user retention, and internal training.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful alignment and execution of product launches, training, and commercial activities.
  • Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership, identifying and refining our competitive differentiation and market positioning.
  • Ensure adherence to brand standards, creating and managing marketing resources that consistently reinforce brand continuity and quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare AI technology applications, specifically medical imaging highly preferred.
  • Career professional with exceptional strategic thinking, ambition, creativity, and substantial marketing expertise.
  • Advanced degree in marketing or business is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, lead complex processes, and implement data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills—articulate, charismatic, and convincing in messaging delivery.
  • Strong background in market research, consumer insights, and translating complex technical information into clear market messaging.
  • Skilled at fostering community engagement, managing online user groups, and maintaining active dialogue with stakeholders.
  • Adept at working both autonomously and collaboratively across teams to achieve marketing and business objectives.
