ROLE OBJECTIVE

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager with channel marketing experience to led the marketing function. You'll help shape our go-to-market strategy, lead multi-channel growth campaigns, and craft messaging that truly resonates with our audience.

You’ll be working across the full marketing funnel, strategising, executing, and optimising, while managing a high-performing team.

This role is ideal for someone hands-on (0-1 marketer) and strategic, who is excited about the world of investing and knows how to turn complex financial ideas into clear, compelling communication.

You’ll be responsible for delivering real, measurable outcomes. Whether it’s driving subscriptions, increasing customer value, or optimising conversion through the funnel, you'll own the numbers and be accountable for results. If you love both spreadsheets and storyboards, you'll fit right in.

TEAM STRUCTURE

You’ll manage a team of 4 spanning Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Content and Design. You’ll report to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with Product, Design, and Data teams and external SEO and Paid Marketing Consultants.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and own the overall marketing strategy in line with company goals and growth targets.
  • Identify and prioritise key growth levers across brand, performance, product, and partnerships.
  • Align marketing plans with product roadmap, business goals, and seasonal opportunities.

Acquisition and Performance Marketing

  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid acquisition campaigns across Google Ads, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage and grow the affiliate marketing program, identifying new opportunities and partners, ensuring the program provides ROI.
  • Drive experimentation across channels to test creative, targeting, and funnel performance.

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

  • Own go-to-market planning for new product launches and feature updates.
  • Partner with Product and Design to develop compelling messaging, content, and enablement materials.
  • Define and refine pricing and packaging strategies for our SaaS products based on customer insight and business goals.

Brand and Positioning

  • Own and evolve the brand strategy to ensure consistency, clarity, and impact across all channels.
  • Lead positioning and messaging development that reflects customer needs, competitive landscape, and market opportunity.
  • Translate complex investing and product concepts into clear, compelling stories that resonate with a consumer audience.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track and analyse marketing performance, campaign effectiveness, CAC, and ROAS
  • Use insights to make data-informed decisions and continually improve strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with the data team to build dashboards and reports that guide decision-making.

Team and Budget Management

  • Lead and support a high-performing marketing team.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Own the marketing budget and allocate resources to maximise growth and efficiency

CAPABILITIES

Knowledge

  • Previous Experience: Leading a marketing team in a SaaS business with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, channel marketing and freemium models;
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Ads, GA4, and Braze
  • Deep understanding of how marketing and product work together to drive value
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content generation, market research, personalisation, and campaign optimisation.
  • Exposure to investing, whether personally, in fintech, or in a finance-adjacent role

Knowledge

  • Previous Experience: Leading a marketing team in a SaaS business with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, channel marketing and freemium models;
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Ads, GA4, and Braze
  • Deep understanding of how marketing and product work together to drive value
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for content generation, market research, personalisation, and campaign optimisation.

  • Technically confident, you’re comfortable with marketing tools, analytics, and data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when simplifying complex topics
  • Strong project management, you move quickly and bring others along
  • Commercial acumen: Able to pragmatically marry marketing strategy with commercial outcomes;
