About the Role
We are seeking a WordPress Content & Design Specialist to support our marketing and content operations. You’ll take content (such as city or service pages) created by our writers and transform it into beautiful, responsive, and optimized web pages in WordPress.
This role combines content formatting, visual design, and light front-end editing—perfect for someone who enjoys building polished, conversion-friendly pages.

Key Responsibilities
- Format and publish content in WordPress using Gutenberg, Elementor, or Divi.
- Structure content with proper headings, spacing, and media blocks.
- Add relevant photos, icons, and internal links to enhance the layout.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and consistent brand identity (colors, fonts, image style).
- Optimize each page for SEO and conversions (meta tags, alt text, CTAs, page speed).
- Perform light HTML/CSS edits to adjust headings, lists, links, and spacing as needed.
- Use Canva, Photoshop, or Figma to size, crop, and brand photos quickly.
- Collaborate with content and design teams via Asana, Trello, or ClickUp to manage publishing tasks.
Ideal Background
- Over 5 years of experience working with WordPress and WP Engine.
- Prior roles such as:
- WordPress Content Editor or Digital Marketing Assistant
- Front-End Web Designer with WordPress experience
- SEO Content Manager with a design eye
- Marketing Coordinator with strong visual sense
- Strong grasp of UX principles (white space, scannability, CTA placement).
- Basic knowledge of Yoast/Rank Math SEO plugins and Google Search Console.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple content projects
