GI BILL - DevSecOps Engineer

This position supports the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) on the Digital GI Bill; this platform enables the VA to call, email, text and chat with GI Bill beneficiaries, grant the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) immediate access to beneficiary records and respond to questions from colleges and universities instantaneously.

Location

Remote: Work is Remote within the continental United States (to include Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico)

Clearance Requirements

• Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
• Requires successful completion of a criminal background check.

Essential Role and Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will deploy and configure Intient infrastructure and products.

Partner with AIP and Client DevOps organizations to design architecture and deployment models

Qualifications

Education

• Master’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
• 10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Experience

• Deep knowledge of AWS architecture and products
• Experience with cloud automation tools(e.g. Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible) and DevOps methods
• Demonstrates expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container architecture
• Familiar with IAM and API management tools (e.g. Keycloak , Kong)
• Supports project teams to efficiently ingest data to develop analytics use-cases
• Consistently applies cloud security principles to all workstreams
