Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join our remote Financial Crimes Risk Management team. You will play a key role in combating financial crime by developing data solutions using modern data science technologies.

Your tasks

• Develop advanced analytics and reporting for systemic risk detection
• Identify new risk typologies and build effective risk models
• Implement compliance rules to analyse payments and identify sanctions risks
• Partner to build robust KYC/CDD analytics and ensure data governance
• Automate alerts and operational processes to reduce false positives and cost

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in statistics, maths, or a related quantitative field
• At least 8 years of experience in building and managing analytics frameworks
• Skilled in automating and optimizing models, including testing and performance validation
• Proficient in programming: Python, R, SAS, or Spark
• Experience using LLMs like ChatGPT
• Background in Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance tools, e.g., Transaction Monitoring, KYC/CDD, Sanctions Screening, Entity Resolution, Case Management
• Available to partially work in standard Eastern Time hours (possible meetings with client from US)
• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have

• Certifications like CAP, DASCA, PDS, SAS Big Data, or Azure Data Scientist
• Familiarity with Palantir Foundry products and solutions
