We are looking for:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a Telematics team developing innovative software solutions for the automotive industry. In this role, you will contribute to building connected-car technologies that integrate vehicles into the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem, working with advanced concepts such as Telematics, 5G, and V2X (vehicle-to-everything).

What you will do:

Analyze and understand customer and internal software specifications.
Design software components based on requirements and the existing architecture.
Develop and maintain embedded software components using C++ on Linux.
Perform debugging and root cause analysis, implement fixes, and verify solutions.
Participate in code reviews, functional testing, and unit testing activities.
Analyze existing embedded software to add features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
Propose optimal technical solutions and contribute to improving development KPIs.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
Support the identification and resolution of product or performance issues.

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 4+ years of experience in software development.
Strong knowledge of C++ with at least 3+ years of experience.
Experience with Embedded Linux development.
Experience developing embedded applications.
Knowledge of inter-process communication, multithreading, and socket communication.
Good understanding of software development processes and embedded operating systems.
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

Experience with TCP/UDP protocols.
Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).
Experience working in Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe).
Experience with Linux Kernel development.
