This remote position is open for candidates based within Finland.

About the project:

We’re looking for a Data Scientist to join a long-term project focused on designing and delivering enterprise AI solutions using the Microsoft AI ecosystem. The project involves building production-ready RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI agent solutions that integrate with the client’s internal data sources and support real business processes. The role combines hands-on development, integration with Microsoft services, and close collaboration with the client’s architecture and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions. The project is expected to start on September and run for 12 months, involve working onsite in Helsinki once a week.

What you will do:

• Design and implement RAG solutions, including data source indexing and vectorization, grounding on organizational data, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of generated responses.
• Design and develop agent-based AI solutions, including tool integrations, using leading Microsoft AI platforms such as Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry.
• Develop integrations with Microsoft data sources and services, including SharePoint, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, and Power BI.
• Perform solution testing and quality assurance, including validation of response accuracy (i.e. responses based on approved source data), and end-to-end testing prior to production deployment.
• Ensure the secure handling of sensitive data and implement appropriate access control considerations at the solution level, in collaboration with the Client’s infrastructure and architecture teams.
• Ensure the maintainability of implemented solutions and produce comprehensive technical documentation.

What you bring:

• Completed at least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent lower university degree) in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in software or AI solution development, including at least 1 year of experience in developing solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs).
• The expert has delivered at least 2 production-ready RAG or AI agent solutions in which they served in a developer role. The solutions must have been implemented using the Microsoft AI ecosystem (e.g. Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and/or Power Platform) and include integrations with the organization’s data sources.
• Fluent in Finnish, Upper-Intermediate spoken English required.

Compensation package is up to 6200 EUR gross per month.
