Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the Role:

Empower is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation and a solid understanding of Java and Selenium. This role is ideal for someone currently working in automation testing and ready to contribute to a high-performing QA team in the financial services sector.

💻 Note: Candidates will be required to use Empower-issued laptops with IP tracking enabled. Work must be performed strictly from the candidate’s home address within the U.S. Relocation during the contract can be discussed and approved, but frequent location changes are not permitted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Execute end-to-end functional, regression, and integration tests for web-based applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain test automation frameworks and ensure consistent coverage.
• Analyze test results, debug issues, and document findings.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation, currently performing automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium.
• Experience with end-to-end testing processes.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Cucumber for BDD testing.
• Familiarity with Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Background in financial services or fintech domain is a plus.
