Job Title: Sr. Specialty Software Engineer

Location: Remote

Must to Have:

• Healthcare Data API development experience (3-5 recent years)
• JSON/FHIR experience (3-5 recent years)
• X12, JSON, and other file translation experience
• Data API Development/Engineering experience (7+ years)
• Incident reporting ticketing system experience
• Experience with Azure Docker Containers
• API development focused on data and file translations

About the Role:

• This consultant will be part of a new extension of the Data Warehouse/Data Management team (team size: 14, becoming 15 with this new role) and will act as an SME and foundational resource to support the launch of a Data Center of Excellence.
• Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Perform regular development tasks on large data sets, focused on data exchange and file translation within FHIR
• Respond to ServiceNow tickets as part of incident processes
• Required: Experience with ticketing/incident systems (ServiceNow preferred)

Pluses:

• SNOW (ServiceNow) experience
• Cloverleaf, Epic, HL7 interfacing experience (secondary to API experience)

Education Requirements / Experience in Lieu Of:

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
• 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree

Software Engineer Resource Skill Set:

• Integration Engines Experience:
• Infor – Cloverleaf HL7 Interface (2-3 years preferred), certification a plus
• Epic Bridges development, certification a plus
• Connectivity and testing
• API, database, and TCP protocols
• HL7 and X12 interface formats strongly preferred
• File transformation – must have
• TCL scripting experience – a plus
• Unix OS experience – a plus
• API Development Skills:
• Visual Studio, C#, C++, Python, or equivalent (2-3 years preferred)
• Database API development preferred:
• Data Exchange
• Data Transformation
• Azure Docker Container administration, monitoring, performance tuning
• JSON/FHIR familiarity
