Developer Relations Marketing Lead - Remote
Salary: £75K–£90K + Equity
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, data-driven marketer who gets developers—and knows how to help build the story that makes them care. In this key role, you'll shape the strategy that takes technical content (product releases, tutorials, how‑tos, webinars, partnerships) and turns it into measurable growth.
Working closely with founders, product, and Developer Relations, you'll own core parts of the marketing engine, growing awareness and usage across platforms developers trust.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and execute marketing campaigns that engage developer audiences and drive adoption of core features
- Build scalable distribution systems for blogs, video, docs, and launch content across channels (social media, newsletters, forums)
- Translate technical product updates into compelling stories that resonate with target users
- Define performance metrics, analyse outcomes, and optimise based on data and feedback
- Participate in developer events, partnerships, and community outreach to boost visibility
What You Bring to the Role
- 3–5+ years in B2D or DevTools marketing, ideally in SaaS or infrastructure-heavy businesses
- Demonstrated track record launching and growing product-led content from scratch
- Comfortable running performance marketing on platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, X (Twitter), or Google Ads
- Strong writing skills and empathy for developer audiences
- Able to work quickly, independently, and iterate fast in a lean environment
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with developer ecosystems such as Python, Rust, or AI tooling
- Experience with HubSpot, SEO tools, Segment, Webflow, or analytics platforms
- Comfort creating technical content—blog posts or video tutorials
- Startup / Scale Up Background
Why This Role?
- Be part of a fast-moving team paving the way in developer-experience innovation
- Work directly with founding and technical leadership in a high-ownership environment
- Help scale a platform that thousands of developers use and rely on daily
- A supportive culture that values creativity, transparency, and continuous improvement
