Together with our cross‑functional Framework team in Product Engineering, you’ll work to create exceptional digital shopping experiences for our customers. We are looking for a Software Developer – Framework (Vue.js) (m/f/d) who is responsible for the core architecture of the Vue.js application within our company named Software "Shopware" for the "Administration", through which merchants can set up, maintain and manage their own shop.
This position can be filled on-site, hybrid, but also full-remote within Germany or specific European countries where we are registered. Your work location will be agreed upon in advance and forms the basis of your employment contract.
These are your tasks:
- You develop and are responsible for the core architecture of our Vue.js application, on which the "Administration" area within "Shopware" is based.
- You will provide the framework that both our internal development teams and our external developer community work with.
- You are responsible for the development of new as well as the further development of existing APIs.
- You will support other development teams with questions regarding the operational implementation of our roadmap as needed.
- You are responsible for the quality checks of your code and independently carry out Unit- and E2E testing.
- You are in regular contact with our open source developer community and occasionally take part in conferences and tech events.
This is what you’ll bring to the table:
- You have several years of hands‑on expertise as a software developer.
- You have many years of in-depth experience with Vue.js and, optionally, Vite expertise.
- You have very good knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- You are a strong communicator and want to represent our open source community and regularly participate in internal and external events (e.g. conferences and community events).
- You are fluent in English and open to working in an international environment with an English-first approach.
