About The Role
Shopify's Marketing & Creative Operations department has big plans for 2025 and beyond and we’re looking for an experienced Manager, Marketing Operations to help us reach those goals. In this role you will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Creative Operations, and will work with Marketing and other stakeholders closely to ensure the overall system of a central command center is running smoothly, ensure our portfolio of priority programs is progressing as well as lead some of our largest, most complex and challenging problems.
You'll get to work alongside senior leaders on large scale transformation + operational improvement programs and projects that impact how we work as an organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help our executives implement their vision while fundamentally improving the way we work. You will be directly paired with Marketing leadership in Commercial, Retail and Product Marketing, bringing together all elements of the marketing engine along the way.
As a Manager, Marketing Operations you will be responsible for successfully managing a small team of operations leads through most impactful programs across multiple departments at Shopify. Success means that your programs are delivered on time, on scope and on budget while ensuring deliverables meet high quality standards and all stakeholders are effectively engaged. You will be a master of connecting dots across the organization and accelerate everything that you touch. Your impact will be actualized through your work as well as your team’s.
Shopify is a tinkerer's paradise, and there is an opportunity for emerging technologies in this role, specifically AI. You will work closely with partners and your team to help unlock the potential of scaling and/or automating marketing workflows and quality by testing and implementing AI workflows.
You'll also have the opportunity to establish and contribute to the development of operational and programmatic best practices, with a north star of having more connected systems, data and people.
