As a Senior Data Scientist on the Dynamic Pricing team at Shipt, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing advanced experiments for Shipt pricing models and implementing cutting edge models in collaboration with product, business, and engineering teams to solve key challenges across multiple pricing domains at Shipt.

On this highly visible team, you will be the subject matter expert in experimentation focused on validating the impact of pricing and algorithmic changes to key business metrics and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to work on our cutting edge ML models.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

4+ years of experience in applying experimentation and statistics in an industry setting, with a track record of delivering impactful results
PhD or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Experience with experiment design, rollout, analysis and reporting
4+ years Python development
Experience presenting to stakeholders
Experience leading key technical projects and substantially influencing the scope and output of others

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. $123,000-$247,000

All other locations:

$109,000-$219,000

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
