About SHAW Studios

Shaw Heritage Arts and Wellbeing (SHAW) Studios is a charity dedicated to strengthening mental wellbeing, social connection and healthy ageing through evidence-based arts and heritage practices that bridge healthcare, community and culture. Our work sits at the intersection of culture, care, and community, and everything we do is made possible by the generosity of our donors, partners, and volunteers.

About the Opportunity

As SHAW grows its programmes and public profile, we are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead how we communicate our mission and expand our reach. This is a mid-level, hands-on role for someone who can both shape strategy and deliver it: building our brand, running campaigns, and growing the audiences, donors, and partnerships that sustain our work. You will be the custodian of the SHAW voice and a vital link between our programmes and the communities we serve. This role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

The Role

  • Lead, develop and own SHAW's marketing and communications strategy so that it supports programme and fundraising goals.
  • Manage and grow SHAW's brand, voice and visual identity, keeping them consistent across every channel and touchpoint.
  • Develop and manage the social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, planning, creating, scheduling and publishing content that reflects our programmes, values, and grows engagement.
  • Lead storytelling and copywriting that show SHAW's impact to donors, partners and the public.
  • Update and maintain website content, and apply SEO such as keyword research, on-page optimisation and content structuring to improve accuracy, relevance and organic discoverability.
  • Produce marketing collateral and key documents such as reports, proposals and presentations in line with brand guidelines.
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social media, email and events, from first concept through to final reporting.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of key marketing projects such as the annual report, website launch and campaign rollouts, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders and delivering on time and within scope.
  • Work with the Programmes, Fundraising and Partnerships teams to support their goals, including venue hire marketing and donor and partner materials such as decks and impact narratives.
  • Liaise with and manage external vendors such as designers, photographers, printers and media partners, getting quotes, coordinating deliverables and holding quality standards.
  • Supervise and guide marketing interns and volunteers, giving direction and feedback that supports both their output and their growth.
  • Provide support on additional marketing and communications tasks as reasonably requested by the Organisation. This includes but is not limited to copywriting assistance, internal communications, and other requests that fall within the marketing remit.

Preferred skills and competencies

  • Proven ability to set marketing strategy and translate it into hands-on delivery.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills across audiences and formats.
  • Confident across digital and social channels, email marketing, and content tools.
  • Proficient with use of AI tools.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects to deadline.
  • A collaborative communicator who can engage donors, partners, and internal teams.
  • A genuine affinity for the arts, heritage, and community wellbeing.
  • Self-motivated and effective in a fully remote working environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, including running point or strategy for a marketing team or function.
  • Demonstrated success planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns end to end.
  • Experience managing brand, content, and digital channels.
  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with or within Singapore’s arts, culture, or social sector is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
