Junior Designer

Temporary position - Full-time 1–3 month contract

Experienced (3-5 Years) Junior Production Artist for Print and Digital for in-house marketing support with the following skills:

• Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop – expert
• InDesign work – mastery of tables and charts
• Especially important – gatefold brochures, trifold pamphlets, 8.5x11 flyers, etc. typical marketing piece environment
• Customer facing, high production value
• Should have own computer and access to above Adobe software suite
• Excellent typography and visual hierarchy understanding and production
• Attention to fine detail (spelling, et al)
• Digital and Print production techniques (understanding of margins, slugs, printers marks, etc.) and how to package a file for print - expert
• Deep understanding of Brand and Identity importance; can follow strict branding guidelines to ensure cohesive application
• Proven track record of delivering multiple projects on time in a remote environment; self-motivated
• Good communicator and takes direction and critique well
• Presentation Deck software – Beautification and Wholesale production from templates for C-Suite presentation decks necessary
• High speed, reliable internet access for weekly/daily video meetings with senior designer to ensure progression of multiple projects
• Nice to have: Medical or Optical field knowledge or experience
