About the Role
We are seeking a Communications Content Specialist to join our Secure Power business. This role supports strategic communications and thought leadership initiatives by developing compelling content for executive social media, technical blogs, internal reports, and media recaps. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with a passion for technology, data centers, and clean energy, and can translate complex technical concepts into engaging, accessible content.
This role requires a highly adaptable individual who can work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate closely with regional executives, marketing, and strategic communications teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Social Media Content
- Collaborate with Secure Power NAM executives and the Strategic Communications Manager to develop LinkedIn posts and messaging.
- Draft and refine 1–2 posts per month per executive, ensuring tone and style align with each individual’s voice.
- Monitor engagement and provide monthly performance reports using established scorecards.
Technical Blog & Content Development
- Establish and manage a monthly North America Secure Power blog calendar.
- Interview internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and translate their insights into polished blog articles (1 per month minimum).
- Create supporting social media content to promote blogs across Data Centers and executive channels.
🔹 Media Coverage & KPI Reporting
- Compile monthly reports summarizing Secure Power’s media coverage, press hits, and thought leadership placements.
- Track key metrics (articles, interviews, media impressions) and support KPI analysis to evaluate performance against strategic goals.
🔹 Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct bi-weekly research and prepare updates on competitor social media activity, PR initiatives, and media mentions relevant to the Secure Power market.
🔹 Event Support
- Assist with communications for marketing events, including content prep (talk tracks, scripts), administrative support, and coordination tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–7 years of professional experience in content creation, journalism, PR, or technical writing.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills; ability to distill technical or complex topics into clear, compelling content.
- Prior experience writing about technology, energy, infrastructure, or data centers.
- Proficiency with blog creation, LinkedIn content, and social copywriting.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
Preferred
- Familiarity with concepts like megawatt/gigawatt capacity, AI infrastructure, and data center ecosystems.
- Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools.
