Job Title: IAM Project Manager (Contract)
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.-Based Candidates Only — U.S. Citizen or Green Card)
Contract Length: 6–12 Months
About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced IAM Project Manager to lead enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives for our client. This role will focus on driving the implementation of centralized identity solutions, access governance enhancements, and automation projects — working closely with cross-functional technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource plans.
- Develop detailed project schedules and manage budgets.
- Lead technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Coordinate technical feasibility reviews, risk assessments, and issue resolution.
- Act as primary point of contact for project status, escalations, and stakeholder reporting.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration across IT, security, business units, and third-party vendors.
- Facilitate project ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) for Agile projects or phase gate reviews for Waterfall.
- Oversee project documentation, change management, and end-user communication.
- Track performance metrics and proactively address risks or schedule adjustments.
- Support testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation adoption.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT project management experience, with a preference for IAM program leadership.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certifications.
- Healthcare experience or something similar
- Strong experience managing software development, infrastructure, or cloud security projects.
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts, SDLC, and DevOps practices.
- Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
- Proficient in tools like MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Asana.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC2, SOX) and security regulations.
- Experience managing vendor contracts and remote/offshore teams is a plus.
