Abu Dhabi (Relocation Required & Fully Supported)

€170K-€190,000 Euro equilivant base in western Europe + Bonus (15-20%) + amazing relocation & amazing new scale up.

We’re supporting the growth of a strategic, security-led R&D team based in the Middle East (Abu Dhabi), building advanced, secure software systems deeply rooted in applied cryptography.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to help design and deliver advanced software solutions that integrate our core platform with each client’s unique technology ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will lead projects through the full lifecycle from understanding customer requirements, to designing architecture, managing development, and overseeing deployment in agile environments.

You will act as a bridge between customers and internal engineering teams, ensuring that solutions are both technically sound and aligned with customer needs.

The role involves hands-on support in developing additional software components and assisting with installation and troubleshooting across remote, cloud, or on-site deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to assess customer needs and design software architectures that close the gap between client requirements and the core platform.
• Lead discussions with infrastructure and development teams to define and schedule required changes, working closely with the scrum master, engineering leads, and product owner.
• Continuously review system architecture to anticipate and mitigate the impact of future updates on existing deployments.
• Act as a customer advocate, ensuring delivery of the most effective and scalable technical solutions.
• Optionally contribute to the development of software and infrastructure components required to implement tailored solutions.

Requirements:

Key Skills that my client is needing for this important role.

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer (across Integrating Cloud/Software)
• Strong troubleshooting experience in customer environments and cloud settings
• Proficiency in agile project management using Jira and Confluence
• Experience integrating complex systems with major cloud providers (The Big Three)
• 5+ years of backend software development experience

Optional Skills (nice to have)

• Nice to have solid Java or Kotlin skills
• Some experience across Terraform or IaC
• Cloud engineering certifications from GCP, AWS, Azure, or HashiCorp

Qualifications:

A solid Masters/PhD in Software Engineering, Data Science, Telematics, or a related software discipline
