Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Sr Digital Marketing Strategist to join our global digital marketing team. This pivotal person will drive the global end-to-end digital marketing strategy and program management for Servicenow Strategic Events, creating effective persona-based user journeys to drive attendees to our virtual and in person events with our digital marketing and Strategic Events team members.
As a Sr Digital Marketing Strategist, you will play a critical role in bringing the story to live in a connected journey, synthesizing global perspectives, and creating a seamless Strategic Event Experience on our Digital Platforms. This role is instrumental in managing the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across all digital marketing channels and ensuring a unified site and content experience. The Sr digital marketing strategist will focus on identifying our strengths and weaknesses, evaluating operational effectiveness, and uncovering opportunities for improvement.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in digital planning and strategy, adept stakeholder management skills, and a deep knowledge of digital marketing. We are seeking a passionate individual who embodies the qualities of a strategic thinker and a strong program manager. A proven track record of pushing the boundaries to drive innovation that generates positive business impact is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should be well-versed in media and digital experience, with familiarity in at least two or more areas within the digital like UX web experience and email.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Lead global strategy and interlink with digital planning teams to reach our goals.
Leverage experience with persona development, buying groups, customer journeys, and the CXO audience to tailor strategies that drive attendees to ServiceNow (virtual) strategic events.
Define and champion a unified digital experience vision, ensuring all campaign touchpoints are engaging, consistent, and customer centric. With a focus on live broadcasts and digital event innovations on 3rd party platforms as well as servicenow.com
Leverage data and user journey mapping to refine digital ecosystems, ensuring continuous improvement in engagement and conversion.
Adeptly manage adjustments in program scopes and schedules and spearhead the evaluation of their impacts on broader strategic initiatives.
Provide thought leadership on platform selection, media mix optimization, and creative approaches to boost campaign performance.
End-to-End Digital Journey Management
Drive the strategy for integrated full funnel digital user journeys for the best-in-class seamless experience pre, during and post event.
Own the end-to-end paid and organic digital marketing strategy outcomes across Social, Content Syndication, Programmatic, Video, Email, SEO, SEM etc.
Oversee campaign planning, execution, optimization, and reporting, ensuring alignment between digital strategy and business objectives.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
Maintain continuous alignment with key stakeholders, including digital marketing teams, product marketing, field marketing and brand marketing, through proactive and effective communication.
Oversee the integration and connectivity of various digital marketing campaigns, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across platforms. Develop and maintain robust reporting frameworks to track campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
Assess organizational performance and implement processes to enhance effectiveness. Develop plans to improve overall operational efficiency and optimization.
Develop and deliver regular health check-ins, monthly summaries, and QBRs for marketing stakeholders.

_For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $112,200 - $196,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
