Senior Web Designer

We’re building a premium digital marketplace that will disrupt the freelance world—something bold, modern, and radically better. This isn’t just about clean UI. We're partnering with a high-end development agency to bring the code to life, but we need a visual architect to lead the design frontier. This role isn’t about tweaking mockups. This is your canvas.

You’ll be the founding designer—the brain behind the experience layer. You'll work directly with the founder and engineers to bring the vision to life, from concept to final pixel. If you’ve ever wanted to put your mark on something that millions will interact with, this is your moment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full UI/UX design process from concept through execution in Figma.
• Create and maintain a high-end, consistent design system and visual identity.
• Design every core interface of the platform: onboarding flows, dashboards, service listings, user profiles, checkout, etc.
• Architect user journeys that feel seamless, intuitive, and emotionally resonant.
• Design for conversion and engagement—while still looking good.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering agency to ensure smooth design-to-dev handoff.
• Iterate based on feedback, real users, and your own relentless attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing for web—ideally with startups, product teams, or major brands.
• Proven experience leading or owning UI/UX for complex, high-functionality sites (marketplaces a plus).
• Deep expertise in Figma and a clear design process from idea to handoff.
• Portfolio that shows more than just beautiful screens—your work converts, flows, and delights.
• Clear communicator who can explain design decisions with business logic and user empathy.
• Hyper-organized thinker who cares about hierarchy, spacing, interaction, and typography.
• Fast, independent, and execution-focused—able to drive a design vision forward with minimal hand-holding.

Bonus If You Have

• Experience designing two-sided marketplaces or B2B platforms.
• Worked closely with devs on complex product builds.
• Built or contributed to a scalable design system.
