This is a fully remote technology driven insurance organization where engineering isn't just a function, it's the engine behind everything they build. Here, engineers are at the forefront of shaping the platform's future by driving decisions that influence the product at its core. You'll have real ownership: guiding technical direction, evolving the platform's capabilities, and delivering solutions that generate immediate, measurable impact across the industry.

Full Stack Software Engineer:

• They are looking to bring on a Software Engineer to be a key contributor to the evolution of their industry leading claims engine
• They are hiring across multiple teams so where you are placed with align with your technical strengths

What You'll Do:

• Broadening the platform's features available to providers

• Making ongoing enhancements to our technology stack, processes, and infrastructure

• Working with other engineering teams to improve configurability throughout the platform

• Partnering with engineers, product managers, and designers to identify and address complex challenges

• Participating in technical design efforts and offering suggestions and feedback for improvement

• Contributing to growth as a leading technology company in the industry

• Operating within an agile workflow and taking part in weekly stand-ups, retrospectives, and related ceremonies

• Proactively reassessing system performance, identifying issues, and recommending alternatives

What they are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering

• 3+ years of experience in full‑stack web development

• Hands‑on experience working with Ruby on Rails and React

• Strong understanding of system design principles, data structures, and algorithms

• Solid grasp of server‑side performance, scalability considerations, and architectural best practices

• Familiarity with frontend design patterns and their application in modern web interfaces

• Experience with:

• Designing and developing APIs

• Creating database schemas and writing optimized, efficient SQL queries for relational databases

• Building applications using React and Redux (or comparable modern frontend frameworks)

• Developing responsive web applications that function seamlessly across a wide range of devices and screen sizes, with deep knowledge of the web stack (HTTP, cookies, caching, asset loading) and modern technologies such as ES6, HTML5, and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)
