📝 About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Events Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and performance analysis of both sponsored industry events and our own field events. From large-scale conferences to curated roundtables, your work will ensure every event generates measurable pipeline and drives meaningful revenue impact.
You’ll manage a small but mighty events team (two direct reports from day one), build and execute a scalable event strategy, and ensure seamless coordination between marketing and sales. You’ll also serve as the primary owner of event attribution and ROI reporting, including pipeline generation, payback period, and post-event insights. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to bring our brand to life in the field—while empowering our sales teams to confidently run events, even when you’re remote.
📌 What You'll Do
Build and Lead a High-Impact Events Program
Own strategy and execution for all field and event marketing efforts—including sponsored conferences, hosted experiences, and regional activations
Manage and mentor two direct reports, providing clear direction, coaching, and professional development
Travel to key events (~1x/month for 2–5 days per trip), overseeing setup, execution, and post-event breakdown as needed
Drive Revenue and Pipeline Through Events
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to align event goals with pipeline and revenue targets
Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify market priorities, activate field support, and localize event strategies
Develop internal toolkits and training to enable sales teams to run successful events autonomously when remote
Own Attribution, Reporting, and ROI Analysis
Track and report on event performance using CRM and marketing automation tools, including:
Qualified pipeline sourced/influenced
Lead follow-up velocity and conversion
Return on event spend, including payback period and cost-per-opportunity
Analyze insights and make data-driven recommendations to continuously improve impact
Optimize Operations and Vendor Management
Oversee event planning from start to finish—budgets, logistics, contracts, swag, shipping, communications, and more
Evaluate and manage third-party sponsorships based on reach, relevance, and revenue impact
Standardize repeatable playbooks, workflows, and communication cadences for pre-, during-, and post-event engagement
