Senior Partner Marketing Manager
Remote — United States
$130K–$145K base + 10% bonus
We’re partnering with an established, profitable vertical B2B SaaS company to hire a Senior Partner Marketing Manager who will help turn an already-strong ecosystem into a much larger source of reach, thought leadership, demand, and pipeline.
This is not an early-stage company still trying to prove product-market fit.
The business is already operating at meaningful scale with $20Mil in revenue, hundreds of customers, roughly 50–100 employees, and 80% penetration across the largest organizations in its market and a deeply trusted installed customer base.
The company is now entering a particularly interesting phase of growth: expanding its product and service footprint, evolving how it goes to market, and investing more intentionally in partnerships as a growth channel.
In short: the hard assets are already there — customers, credibility, market access, domain expertise, and partner relationships. The next phase is about building a more sophisticated growth engine around them.
The opportunity
The company already has approximately 10 important strategic partner relationships across industry alliances, professional associations, private-equity ecosystems, and other trusted 1:many networks.
This is not a build-from-zero partner program.
The opportunity is to take relationships that already exist and figure out how to unlock significantly more value from them:
- Who does each partner already have trust with?
- What does that audience care about?
- What access is underused today?
- What content or programming would genuinely create value?
- How should it be distributed through the partner?
- How do we measure whether it created awareness, engagement, leads, pipeline, or expansion?
This person will report directly to the CMO and own partner marketing programs end-to-end — from identifying the opportunity and shaping the strategy to creating the messaging, launching the program, and measuring the commercial result.
What you’ll own
- Develop and execute marketing strategies across a focused portfolio of strategic partners and associations
- Identify ways to use partner audiences, communities, and distribution channels to expand reach and generate demand
- Build co-marketing programs including thought leadership, webinars, educational programming, campaigns, research, executive roundtables, and other creative activations
- Personally create partner-facing messaging, briefs, emails, landing-page copy, presentations, one-pagers, and enablement materials
- Build strong relationships with external partners and identify mutually valuable opportunities
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership
- Measure partner-generated awareness, engagement, leads, opportunities, pipeline, acquisition, expansion, and ROI
- Use performance data and partner/customer feedback to continuously improve programs
- Help drive engagement and advocacy within the company’s customer community
What we’re looking for
- 6+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience
- 3+ years of meaningful partner, alliance, ecosystem, channel, association, or similar marketing experience
- Proven experience turning partner relationships into measurable marketing or commercial results
- Strong examples of 1:many / through-partner marketing — using a partner’s trusted audience, customer base, membership, or community to create reach and demand
- Experience owning programs from strategy through execution and measurement
- Strong writing skills and recent hands-on experience creating marketing content yourself
- Comfort working directly with senior external partners and internal executives
- Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Strong commercial instincts and a track record of connecting marketing activity to pipeline or revenue
Especially relevant backgrounds
We’d be particularly interested in candidates who have worked with:
- Accounting firms or other professional-services audiences
- Associations, member organizations, industry bodies, or professional societies
- Big Four / advisory / consulting ecosystems
- Private-equity portfolio networks
- Customer communities
- Partner-led demand generation or through-partner marketing programs
Why this role is different
This is a rare middle ground between startup-level ownership and established-company leverage.
You get the opportunity to build, but you are not starting from zero.
The company already has:
- meaningful scale and profitability
- hundreds of customers
- significant penetration in its market
- a strong reputation with large customers
- an expanding product and service portfolio
- approximately 10 strategic partner relationships
- executive commitment to making partnerships a more important growth lever
The marketing organization itself is intentionally lean, which means this role will have real visibility, autonomy, and influence. The right person will be senior enough to identify the opportunity and shape the strategy, but still hands-on enough to open the document and write the campaign themselves.
If you’ve built programs that answer the question, “Who does this partner already have trust with, and how can we turn that access into measurable growth?” — we’d love to hear from you.
