About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to own design across SCRYPT’s institutional surfaces - Client Portal, Custody, Settlements, Asset Management UI, and the internal operations platform.

You won’t be designing in isolation. You’ll work directly with the CEO, the Senior Product Lead, and the Head of Engineering to define visual systems, interaction patterns, and UX architecture for products that institutional clients trust with serious capital. This is a senior IC role with system ownership. We do not need a coordinator. We need a designer who ships.

Key responsibilities

• Own design across all SCRYPT product surfaces - Client Portal and the internal operations platform
• Build and maintain SCRYPT's institutional design system - components, patterns, brand expression, motion language
• Partner with engineering on implementation - Figma to production, with design QA ownership
• Translate institutional product requirements (counterparty risk, custody segregation, settlement workflows) into clear UX
• Define and run user research on institutional clients
• Use AI tooling natively in the design workflow - Figma plugins, Claude/GPT for research synthesis and copy iteration

Job requirements

Experience

6+ years in product design, with at least 3 in fintech, B2B SaaS, or institutional infrastructure. Portfolio must show shipped work in production, not concept work.

Design system ownership

Has built or maintained institutional-grade design systems. Comfortable owning components and patterns end-to-end.

Visual quality

Senior craft. Type, hierarchy, motion, interaction. Strong institutional and B2B SaaS design sensibility.

AI-native

Uses AI tooling daily - for research synthesis, design exploration, prompt-driven mock-ups, copy iteration.

Languages

Fluent English required.
