Software Development Engineer 3

We're on the hunt for Software Development Engineers (Level III).

Job Description

• Design and build complex systems that can scale rapidly with little maintenance.
• Design and implement effective service/product interfaces.
• Provide technical support for many applications within the technology portfolio.
• Respond to and troubleshoot complex problems quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
• Handle multiple competing priorities in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Create and maintain documentation for your projects.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive toward root cause identification and resolution.
• Take responsibility for monitoring product development and usage at all levels with an eye toward improving product quality.

Required Experience/Skills

• Relevant work experience of 4+ years in a software engineer role.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on knowledge in building backend systems using JAVA.
• Experience in C/C++ is not a must, but a differentiating factor.
• Excellent SQL skills and a good understanding of relational database concepts.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
• Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
