Product Designer

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for a Mid-Level Product Designer (PD2) on behalf of our client, a fast-growing and innovative gaming infrastructure company!

This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity for a creative and technically skilled designer to make a direct impact on the tools and platforms that power the gaming experiences of thousands of users worldwide.

What you will be doing:

• Designing clean, intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile across internal panels, billing tools, and customer-facing experiences
• Collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and marketing to bring ideas to life
• Using Figma to deliver pixel-perfect designs and ensure seamless handoffs to engineering
• Maintaining and evolving internal design systems to ensure visual consistency
• Participating in user testing and research to inform and iterate on design decisions
• Supporting proprietary interface development for systems like billing, marketing, and server management
• Communicating design intent and structure to engineering with an understanding of CSS elements and frontend integration
• Working with visual themes and aesthetics common in the gaming world—dark UIs, gradients, glowing elements, and bold interfaces

What you will need:

• 2–4+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX or Product Design

• Deep experience with Figma as a primary design tool

• Strong grasp of responsive and mobile-first design principles

• A portfolio showcasing product-focused design work—preferably within gaming, tech, or SaaS

• Experience designing functional web interfaces (not just marketing pages)

• Understanding of how design translates into frontend development (HTML/CSS/animations)

• Bonus if you bring:

• Experience with illustration, SVG animations, 3D, or interactive elements

• Gaming industry experience or a personal connection to the gaming community

• A design aesthetic aligned with gaming—think dark, moody, glowing UIs over light, minimalist, or fashion-forward themes

Location & Work Environment:

• Fully remote within the U.S. (preference for candidates in Austin, TX or the states of AZ, ID, IN, MI, OH, PA, TX, WA)
• Also open to candidates located in Germany, the UK, or Qatar
• Occasional travel to Austin, TX for team events (1–2x per year)
